We offer an exclusive service in the treatment of wood products with hot paraffin wax. We encourage all customers who have equipment, new and old to have it treated in hot paraffin wax. Old equipment who’s origin is unknown, where disease questions are unresolved, or for new equipment where they want the greatest amount of life time for their dollar.

Recent studies in Australia have resulted in a ringing endorsement of the Paraffin Treatment of woodenware. The process kills American Foulbrood (AFB) and adds a minimum of 20 years to your new and used equipment, no painting necessary. Read the whole study, click here.

All new equipment at QRC can be ordered, treated. If you would like to have old equipment treated please call for an appointment and specific instructions.

Charges for most (standard) equipment are:

• Deep box w/frames—$3.50 each
• Medium box w/frames—$2.50 each
• Hive part i.e.; Inner cover, Bottom board—$0.50 each
